About Kylie Kollar

Kylie Kollar, growth and paid media leader

I am a growth and paid media leader with more than a decade of experience helping consumer brands scale with clarity and discipline.

My background spans agency, in-house, and leadership roles, giving me a practical understanding of how growth actually works inside businesses, not just in dashboards. I'm proud to have partnered with brands both big and small, including notable names like Nike, Converse, SOREL, and Ruti.

Background

I have spent the past ten years leading paid media and growth strategy for high-growth consumer brands, managing multi-million dollar budgets across Meta, Google, Pinterest, affiliate, and creator-driven channels.

My work has focused on helping brands move from reactive optimization to intentional growth by building clear strategy, strong measurement, and repeatable systems. Along the way, I have partnered closely with founders, executives, creative teams, and agencies to align marketing efforts with broader business goals.

I have worked both inside companies and alongside external partners, which has shaped how I approach leadership, collaboration, and accountability.

My Point of View

Paid media has become more complex, but also more misunderstood.

Many teams spend too much time reacting to short-term performance and not enough time building the systems that support long-term growth. Attribution is often treated as either exact or useless, when in reality it requires judgment and context.

I believe the most effective growth strategies are grounded in strong fundamentals, clear priorities, and thoughtful decision-making. My role is to help teams see the bigger picture and move forward with confidence.

Why Fractional Leadership

As brands scale, the need for senior growth leadership often outpaces the ability or desire to hire a full-time executive.

Fractional leadership offers a practical alternative. It provides experienced strategic ownership without the overhead or long-term commitment of a full-time hire. It also allows brands to benefit from perspective shaped by multiple businesses, stages, and challenges.

This model allows me to focus on what I do best: helping teams make better growth decisions and execute them with intention.

How I Show Up

I approach my work with a balance of rigor and pragmatism.

I value clear thinking, honest conversations, and accountability. I am comfortable making decisions, but equally comfortable questioning assumptions when something does not add up. I work best with teams that value collaboration, clarity, and steady progress over constant urgency.

Above all, I care about doing work that is thoughtful, effective, and aligned with the long-term health of the business.

Outside of work

I am a fourth generation native Oregonian and proud to call Bend, Oregon home. I enjoy a slower pace of life, time outdoors, and raising my family (including a toddler and a small flock of chickens). Living outside of major tech and agency hubs has reinforced my belief in focus, sustainability, and building systems that support both strong businesses and healthy lives.
